Being in Key Biscayne
Key Biscayne is one of the hottest spots in Florida. Between the beaches, the local restaurants, and the proximity to all things Miami and South Florida, it can be hard to appreciate the very city you might be staying in. But with Royal Stays, we are here to show our appreciation to one of our favorite cities: Key Biscayne!
Local Attractions in Key Biscayne
Cape Florida Lighthouse – The Cape Florida Lighthouse is a memorable attraction to see when you’re in Miami. While it may not have the glitz of a fancy museum or the grandiosity of a cinema, the lighthouse has this archaic calmness to it.
Miami Seaquarium – The Miami Seaquarium is the biggest attraction for Key Biscayne. The largest aquarium in South Florida, the next closest attraction remotely comparable is up in Orlando.
Seaplane tours – What’s better than an aerial tour of Miami? When the boat takes off from the water. If you’ve never been in a seaplane, there’s a special sort of excitement that rises in your chest when you first skip off the water. Then the tour is also pretty remarkable.
Dinner on the Beach – If you can find a beachside restaurant to have dinner at, I highly recommend it. It’s one of those simple and sweet things that many people take advantage of when they live here. But it’s fun to eat on the beach.
Crandon Park – Crandon Park is a subtle gem in the heart of Biscayne Bay. Here you can have a nice relaxing time in the center of the park and witness wild birds such as the peacock showing their feathers!
Biscayne Bay may not be the loudest place to go in South Florida. But when you live in Miami, and there’s nothing but loud all the time, the quiet can be a vacation all it’s own.
